My Teacher, My Friend

This creation is intended to be in a special room of the Precious Moments Chapel. It will be delicated to Mr. Rex Moravec, my teacher and my friend, who not only taught me very well, but who also inspired me to study the works of the masters. As a result, I went on to college intending to be a professor of fine arts. Mr. Moravec even to this day continues to be such a blessing and inspiration to me.

Cherish The Treasure Within

A Limited Edition Precious Moments 30th Anniversary event figurine will be available for purchase only during the hours of the event. The figurine, “Cherish The Treasure Within,” ($45.00 SRP) depicts a girl in a slicker on a beach holding a clamshell with a beautiful pearl inside. By her side is an adorable sea otter looking up at her.

“Pearls are the symbol of a 30th anniversary,” said Bret Moore, vice president of marketing for Precious Moments, Inc., “so we placed a pearl into this event piece to commemorate this occasion.” The figurine will have a special event-only understamp and will retire the same day. A matching cloissone’ pin will be given away with each figurine sold.
